Welcome to the second issue of my "Wealthy Minds" newsletter.
You are now in the password protected PRIVATE MEMBERS' of www.turn-debt-into-wealth.com - a new website dedicated to bringing you news and techniques on wealth creation. And in this issue... mind development.
All that you will find in this restricted area is 100% pure INFORMATION to help you build wealth. That's it. And at the end I make mention of a couple of resources that you can take advantage of. It's your choice whether you do or not.
Note: Please ensure that you retain the password. If you click off this page you will need it to re-enter.
As you may be aware I created another website several years ago called www.motivationselfesteem.com. This new site is an expansion of the wealth section of that site.
The Transformational Ability of a "Wealthy Mind"
When your mind is in a "wealthy state" then that mindset has the ability to transform itself into REAL wealth. I'm talking money, cash, manna, moolah, bread - call it what you want. Financial wealth. Now, if the subject of money and making money is offensive to you then it would probably be best if you stop reading right NOW! There will be nothing of value here for you and it is better for you not to aggravate yourself.
I have found that the people who ARE offended by money are ALWAYS those who do not have it and who are doing nothing to improve their position. They just want to continue to do nothing. It's so easy to play out the role of a victim. It masks lack of achievement. Anyway, enough of that. I could write an entire chapter about this alone, but not today.
And I certainly do not want to receive abusive emails criticizing me for being too materialistic or whatever. After all, this IS the "Wealthy Minds" newsletter and it DOES sit on a website called www.turn-debt-into-wealth.com. It IS in the realm of my chosen subject. And that IS what most people expect me to offer to them.
So, with all that out of the way, today, I want to help those people who WANT to help themselves. I want to help the people who have HAD ENOUGH of denying themselves. If that describes you then there is a FEAST of information in this issue for you. And if you wonder where I get all this information from, well, for the moment it is a BIG secret. However, it will all become evident to you as you work your way through this newsletter.
Having said all that... this issue is a little "unusual." In fact, it is very unusual. Some people will resonate with it strongly. Others will read it, scratch their heads and think: "What the hell was that all about?" If you are in that second category then you will almost certainly be one of a rare and select few. Congratulations.
However, most people have extreme issues with what I call "the voice of no can do." You know... that nagging little voice that sits somewhere in the back of your mind and tells you ALL the things that you can't do, why you shouldn't do them, why you shouldn't even attempt to do them etc etc... Basically it is all that "rot talk" that will consign you to a life of lost opportunities, extreme regret and misery. And it WILL do that unless you take control and do something about it.
If there is one thing that I have realized when dealing with people from all walks of life and in all sorts of situations it is this:
So many could do so much more. They just don't have the confidence and without having the confidence they just cannot make a start. Usually, this is because they have this obnoxious fear in the back of their minds that tells them that they cannot do whatever it is that they really want to do.
In short, they manage to TRASH TALK themselves out of it before they even get into it. Inactivity and inaction breeds defeat and loss of confidence. It affects so many people at so many different levels.
Procrastination
This is where procrastination begins to take hold - "will I? won't I? will I? won't I? will I? won't I? - Oops. Look at that! While I was wrestling in my mind the expiry date has passed. Hmm. I guess I don't need to think about that any more." Case dismissed. Bliss is restored! Sound familiar?
If you ask any tradesperson what the most difficult part of any job is they will probably tell you that planning and organizing is the hardest part. Assembling the tools and the raw materials and the work space is just as difficult as getting the job itself done.
When a rocket is fired into outer space most of the fuel is consumed in the first few miles of the journey to escape the gravitational pull of the earth. The further the rocket gets away from earth the less fuel it uses and the easier it is to maneuver. It is the same with ANY task - even the writing of this newsletter.
Often people become exhausted just thinking about all the things that could go wrong. The task becomes so monumental in their mind that it hardly seems worthwhile even to start. But, once we dismiss those thoughts and make a start, like the rocket, it just gets easier and easier.
I once heard a speaker say: "Do the thing and the doing of the thing will give you more energy to keep doing the thing." How TRUE that is! This is EXACTLY how I do all the things that I do. I SMASH the trash talk before it gets too developed in my mind.
So, what we really need is to be able to overcome inertia and an ability to recognize that self-doubt is a bad thing that will haunt your every move IF you keep giving in to it. Like I said - that is where the "art of procrastination" sets in and virtually takes over.
If you surrender to it you will get a reputation for being a "gunna." You're ALWAYS gunna do this and you're gunna do that but you NEVER get around to it. Let me tell you something if that has just described you...
People who are procrastinators and negative get EXCLUDED from so many events. They do. And most of the time they never even realize it. They just think that people do not like them. It's got nothing to do with likability. It's got everything to do with procrastination.
In the workplace this is most common. If you are a procrastinator you will never be told. You will just automatically be excluded from events, projects, meetings and "think tanks" because of your inability to make a decision, your "fence-sitting," your EACH-way betting and your continual objections to going forward. All this will be seen by your peers as NEGATIVE INPUT... because that is EXACTLY what it is! The movers and shakers will shun you. Now you know!
I have turned this concept of procrastination and negative self-talk into a bit of a story so, if you don't like stories - too bad. I really need to get this message across. The best way of helping people is to be "tough." Pussy-footing around the issue just helps nobody. So, if you don't like my approach to this subject then go and find somebody who will massage your ego and make you feel good for a short while. But that sort of approach never solves long term problems. In fact, it fuels them.
I think what follows will help a lot of people to overcome the false power of negative thinking.
Here we go...
Story
I had a friend, or so I thought. He came to me one day, uninvited, without fanfare. In fact, I can't even recall when he moved in with me.
He stayed with me a long time. Too long. Far too long.
This "friend" was neither physical nor spiritual. From where he came I do not know. However, I do know that I gave him sympathy and the power he gained over me almost destroyed me.
Now, I am a man but if you are a woman reading my story, don't think this thing resides only with men, for I know with absolute certainty that it knows no sexual preference.
I am at a loss to know what to call this thing. Therefore, I will simply call this unwanted inhabitant IT.
IT, I can now say with great authority, is an insidious thief. IT will take from you, slowly but surely, until you have been stripped, robbed blind. And what does IT take? IT will take your most prized possession, your greatest asset. IT takes your self-confidence.
IT's method is its most powerful weapon. You see IT works like a slow but lethal and very deliberate poison, gradually stupefying its victim.
At first you don't even notice because IT is so minute, a mere amoeba. So you sub-consciously adjust downward, succumbing almost imperceptibly, but succumbing just the same.
IT bites again. And again the sensation is minute. But it's there, slowly penetrating your dormant defenses, sapping your self esteem, gnawing away day by day by day... just like a flea will do in the hair of a dog.
IT permeates your sub-conscious, pulling you down - even at night - in your dreams. Downward you spiral, unaware of what is really happening to you. You don't notice its cancerous growth.
But communion is well under way, gathering strength, inexorably fueled by your lack of realization - without your knowledge and certainly without your permission.
IT is taking possession of you.
By attacking your command centre, IT knows that it will eventually control the whole body and all its faculties. You become listless, disinterested in almost everything and you don't know why. Your abilities begin to wane. You start to DOUBT yourself more and more. Something is wrong! But what?
Because we think we are mainly physical beings we always suspect it is just the body which is "out of sorts." Perhaps a course of vitamin pills will be the answer.
IT laughs. IT can't be touched by vitamin pills, or, for that matter, any form of physical therapy. Such folly has absolutely zero effect on IT. And IT continues to thrive, harnessing and converting brain cells one by one, gaining in intensity, unchecked and completely unhindered.
You still don't understand what is happening to you. You get older. Things that were easy for you once are now so much harder. They require much more effort. You begin to doubt whether the effort is justified by the anticipated result. Procrastination and lethargy sets in. Nothing seems worthwhile. Everything works so well for everybody else but not for you. You're just dogged by bad luck. Is that what you think?
The power of IT is in its power of duplication and re-inforcement.
So what exactly is this IT?
IT is the power of negativity. The genesis of this is procrastination - inability to decide and inability to take action.
"Ouch!" says IT. Being identified is dangerous to IT. IT prefers to sneak around anonymously. And IT knows that identification is the first step to rectification but here is the catch:
CRITICAL POINT: You will only change if you REALLY want to. Do you HURT enough? Or do you need more punishment and more years of going nowhere?
The only weapon at your disposal is the power of positivity. "Ouch again!" says IT. But one unit of positive is much weaker than a unit of negative. You therefore literally need to overdose on positive influences. You need MASSIVE doses.
Well, where do you get the necessary doses of this anti-venin called "positive" from? The answer is deceptively simple. So simple in fact that the vast majority of negatively controlled people will not even believe the solution when revealed to them. They might even roll their eyes skyward and say to themselves: "What a load of rubbish." Some people reading this will be thinking that right now. Gee, these people really are in need of help.
So, what is the answer to combating the rampant negativity of IT. Read carefully. DON'T MISS THIS. Here it is:
Books
"Books?" you exclaim! Huh? "Books?"
Yes, books. They are the answer. Not just any old books - good positive, image building books.
IT says: "That's rubbish!"
You think: "Maybe not. I've heard about these things. I heard once that lots of famous people read them. And lots of wealthy people too!"
CRITICAL POINT: Books contain ideas and information that may never be available to you from any other source. Books often contain a person's entire life study of a particular subject. By reading and studying you can learn in a few hours or days what it has taken somebody their entire lifetime to learn. Is that POWER? I ask you again... IS THAT POWER? You better believe it. THAT IS POWER!
On the subject of books, IT says : "There's plenty of time. Read them some other day. Read them next week, next month, next year. Oh hell! Why bother reading them at all? That's such a stupid idea. A complete waste of time - not to mention money. Don't listen to that!"
And if you listen to IT, as you have in the past, IT gets stronger. You just plod along like you have been doing all your life up until now. Your thought processes don't change so your habits remain the same. You get more of the same. Is that what you really want?
But if you read positive, you start to think positive.
"OUCH!" screams IT, wounded. A couple of brain cells are released from IT's grip - converted back to positive. But IT, although surprised and bleeding slightly, is not terribly worried.
IT knows that reading these sort of books is a chore. It has to be. 99% of the population don't read them. In fact, a huge number of people have NEVER read any sort of book since they left school. And for many, even if they do make a decision to read a positive book, they soon stop.
Why do you think there are so few truly successful people? Life is like a beehive. There is one queen bee for every sixty or seventy thousand drones.
IT knows that it will be fed - just like a vampirous leach sucking on the body of a fatiguing host. IT always gets fed by other negatively inspired individuals, all harboring their own ITs.
They feed and grow off each other, burgeoning also under the constant flow of bad news ravaging all the newspapers, televisions and radio stations.
CRITICAL POINT: All the proof that you need about "bad news" can be found in the media. The media isn't stupid. The media engages psychologists and marketing experts who tell them EXACTLY what stories to run with. Is it any co-incidence that almost ALL of the lead stories are disasters of one thing or another? They KNOW that MOST people absolutely feast on this news. So that is what they feed you.
Bad news is BIG news and bad news is GOOD news to IT!
Anybody harboring an IT feasts on bad news.
IT constantly seeks to take over your mind, always striving to take over the half way mark. IT knows that any more than a fifty- percent controlling interest in the share registry of your mind gives IT preferential voting rights. And this virtually guarantees a lifelong residence in IT's host - you!
When this happens, any individual suffering from the ravages of IT is virtually unable to fight back alone. A Samaritan is needed. But IT will say: "Get rid of this interfering nuisance. You don't need anybody meddling in your affairs!"
...and many well-meaning Samaritans are sent packing. Banished by IT.
CRITICAL POINT: In some respects I am one of those good samaritans. I have identified this evil entity for you. And I know full-well that some people who are so powerfully controlled and consumed by this insidious thing will detest me for it. They will think that I am full of crap and that I have lost the plot or something.
IT rears its ugly presence every time a decision has to be made. IT's favorite quotes are:
"I can't do that."
or
"I will never amount to anything"
or
"I'm not worthy"
or
"People like me will never succeed at anything"
Go on - be honest. Have YOU ever "thought" junk like that?
Why do you think most people play lotto? Because in their own minds they are convinced that they will never have the "good things" in life unless they win them. And do you know what most people expect when they play lotto? They expect not to win. They actually EXPECT to lose. It really is quite self-sabotaging, isn't it?
Other IT sayings are:
"Who do you think you are?"
or
"Don't be so stupid!"
or
"People born where I was born never to amount to anything"
or
"I'm not lucky"
You must realise that if you are saying these things to yourself, you are your own worst enemy. How can you possibly achieve anything worthwhile when that little gremlin inside your head sets you on the path of failure every time?
CRITICAL POINT: Now that you know the techniques of negative self-talk you are in a position to DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!
I am reminded of that classic line in the movie "Predator" when Arnold Schwarzenegger says: "If it bleeds, we can kill it!" I LOVE that line. Feel the brutal power of it.
IT is as cunning as it is predatory. If IT throws a barrage of negative influence at you and you still haven't faltered, IT will use one of its most lethal weapons:
IT will say to you: "What will all your friends think?" This is the ATOM BOMB in IT's arsenal.
This little question alone has stopped more people from achieving greatness than any other question in the history of mankind. How wondrous that these six little words can have such an impact on us.
Now, we absolutely don't want our friends to think any less of us do we? Of course not. But how can being successful be such a threat? Real friends stick with people no matter what. No real friend would want you to live a life less than what it could be. Unless, of course, they have a rampant IT controlling them. Then, they definitely want you held back. They want you to succeed so long as your success is no greater than their success! Sound familiar? Just like the crabs in the bucket experiment. Don't concern yourself with that now. I'll explain it later.
So, let's consider this question again, in a slightly different format:
"What will all my friends think?"
Have you ever asked yourself that very question? Be honest. You have, haven't you? Hundreds of times. Recognise one thing. This is IT at work - your negative, self-sabotaging, self-defeating, trash-talking gremlin.
So even in spite of the fact that you know you can do yourself good and you know in your own heart that what you seek for yourself is right, you stop right there. IT wins. You LOSE. IT deprives you yet again.
And IT sits back going "Ha, ha, ha - the fool fell for that old scam again!"
You should have realized something by now. Whenever IT has a victory, IT gains strength by weakening you.
IT will always attempt to use PROVEN techniques against you. Whatever your "hot button" is that is what will be used. And the more often these hot buttons work, the more often IT will use them.
Eventually IT has sown the seed of doubt so many times that the negative thought process becomes an integral part of you. IT says: “drink more alcohol,” “smoke more tobacco,” “watch more TV,” “eat more junk food,” “yeah... get those drugs into yourself.” "In fact, you only live ONCE - do ALL that bad stuff!"
You don't even have to consider opportunities and new ideas any more because you know that they are just no good, they don't work, and, even if they do, they won't work for you! Automatically you believe: "That's impossible for me."
At this point your IT is so confident he can ease up a little bit, maybe go on a little vacation. You are under IT's control.
Well, guess what? When IT can achieve this point, you are in both your direst peril and your greatest defensive position.
CRITICAL POINT: The darkest hour always comes just before dawn.
You have a choice.
Ask yourself these questions:
"What am I DOING to myself?"
"Why do I ALWAYS think like this?"
"Do I want to go on like this FOREVER?
You see, when IT knows that he is so thoroughly in control, he also knows that he doesn't have to work so hard any more. Gosh, why work hard when you know you can get by so easily. Relax a bit thinks IT. Put your feet up. You've done such a good job on this one.
Like I said before:
YOU HAVE A CHOICE!
You can continue to spiral downward in an incessant depression of misery and grief or you can shout out:
"STOP. I've had enough of you controlling me!"
If you choose to remain depressed then woe betide you. If, on the other hand, you decide there is more to life than forever procrastinating, suffering unnecessarily and being miserable just for the sake of it, then there is something you can do to change.
"What?" I hear you ask.
CRITICAL POINT: YOU CAN CHANGE BUT... YOU HAVE TO WANT TO!
There is no point in saying you want to change if you are not willing to put in any effort. No point at all.
For goodness sake - don't be a damn wimp! Be a warrior for once in your life! Make a stance. Change. Do it. You have NOTHING to lose and EVERYTHING to GAIN.
Improving yourself will take time and it will take effort and it will probably be inconvenient and it will probably require you to "put yourself out." But nothing worthwhile ever came about by chance and idleness.
How can we deprive IT?
Every time you hear that little "can't do" gremlin, IT, speaking inside your head you REJECT it.
Whenever IT says crap like: "You're a loser," you say: "I'm a winner."
When IT says: "You can't do that," you say: "I can do that." And if you won't say: "I can do that" then say: "How can I do that?" Saying that will set you into a mode where your mind will sub-consciously be looking for solutions and ways to solve your problems.
CRITICAL POINT: Changing the emphasis on certain words changes the entire meaning of the sentence.
Compare these:
1 - "How can I do that?"
2 - "How can I do that?"
See the difference? The first is negatively inspired. The emphasis is on "I." The second - same words - is positively inspired. The emphasis is on the word "can." This is important. It is as much about the intention and the emotion and the inference as it is in the actual words themselves.
IT will become agitated and "machine gun" you with massive doses of negative input. Recognise this as a desperate move by IT. Many, many half-hearted triers have fallen victim to such an onslaught. Keep picking yourself up. Shield yourself from IT.
DON'T BE A TRIER; BE A DOER. BE A WARRIOR!
In the face of massive odds, doers and warriors eventually win. Henry Ford did it. Wilbur and Orville Wright did. Thomas Edison did. Colonel Harland Sanders did. Mahatma Gandhi did. Agatha Christie did. Winston Churchill did. So did Abraham Lincoln. So did Bill Gates. So did Sylvester Stallone. So did Florence Nightingale. And Charles Darrow and Elvis Presley and Dr Jonas Salk and Mother Theresa and Alexander Graham Bell and Walt Disney and Christopher Columbus and Leslie Charteris and Joan of Arc and probably some silent achiever who lives just down the road from you that you have never heard of and probably never will. And, and, and...
All of the above and millions of others have risen above personal hardships to achieve greatness in their chosen fields in their own lifetimes. And not only that - their achievements go on, long after they do not. They leave a legacy. That is so important. Achievers are remembered throughout history - long after their physical lives have ended. The world becomes a BETTER place for them having lived.
All you have to keep saying is: "I don't care what you think or say to me, I am going to succeed anyway!" FEEL the absolute POWER and arrogance of that statement! Say it out aloud if you want.
CRITICAL POINT: Make a promise to yourself. If you can't keep a promise to yourself, who can you keep a promise to?
Think about that.
Remember, as I pointed out before, "negative is stronger than positive".
Only a truly determined individual will be able to combat the strength of IT, particularly those people whose ITs have been allowed to run unabated for such a long time.
Stand up for yourself. Whenever IT speaks to you, don't listen. Block IT out.
Think positive thoughts, read positive and uplifting books (eg all the books listed in the appendix of my manual) and stories, watch motivating movies (eg "Rocky"), listen to the words of positive songs (eg Corey Hart's "Never Surrender") and poems. Build up a library of positive material that you can CONSTANTLY refer to when things get tough. Tough times never last but tough people do.
And here is a big tip - one that a very famous author devoted an entire book on and you can have it right here, right now.
Here it is:
WRITE POSITIVE AFFIRMATIONS
AND GOALS ON CARDS
AND READ THEM AS OFTEN AS POSSIBLE
This is a VERY powerful thing to do. It is particularly useful to read these affirmations the very first thing upon awakening and the very last thing just before you go to sleep at night. You will then be able to dream like the successful person or champion that you wish to become.
Reject IT with all your might. If you feed your mind with positive thoughts as often as you feed your stomach with food you will eventually gain complete dominion over IT.
You can control IT or you can allow IT to keep controlling you.
The choice is all yours. You can make such a choice, or you can choose to disregard this advice.
But a word of warning. Let me refer back to my opening paragraph. IT can masquerade as a "friend". Indeed this is often how IT can transform from a state of infancy to become a full-blown hairy-armpitted adult IT. No true friend would push you down and order for you a life of hopelessness, despair and mediocrity.
The very fact that you were born suggests that you were brought into this world for a purpose. Everybody, every animal, and for that matter, every thing has a purpose. Otherwise they would not exist. Anything that is has a purpose. The purpose of IT is to blockade your purpose. IT is to you what aphids are to roses and fleas are to dogs and cats. Deny IT. Give IT no credence.
You must also recognise those individuals who are so hopelessly possessed by their own ITs that they seek to possess others in order for their own bloated, engorged ITs to transfer and multiply. Think of it like the influenza bug - silent, unseen, viral, desperate to spread.
After reading this information you will easily be able to identify such people. They are the doomsayers. Nothing is ever right for these poor blighted souls. Everything, to them, points to them being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Bad luck haunts their every moment. They look for ill-fate and ultimately, that is exactly what they get. They are a bit like a dog chasing its own tail.
Such people are your nemesis. Don't share their ITs. Do NOT be contaminated!
CRITICAL POINT: If you can't help them, don't join them. Misery loves company.
IT can be very contagious. Disassociate yourself from these people.
I know this last sentence sounds ruthless. But that is the harsh truth. We all know of people who are constantly depressed. Nothing you can ever do for them will ever be enough. Nothing can get them up from the floor. They rarely smile and when they do it is false - and other people recognize it. The edges of their mouths are actually turned downward. I see people like this all the time. I know what is inside their heads without them ever uttering one word - not that I would want to talk to them!
These people are the living dead - huge reservoirs of smoldering, rapacious negativity. They are the procrastinators extraordinaires. Nothing EVER works for them and they can PROVE it! And they feel most at ease when they can get others to SHARE their false, self-imposed pain. They mouth trash. They are trash talkers.
You should walk away from these people as quickly as you can. In fact, don't walk, RUN!
When you learn to control your IT, you can begin to fulfill the mission of your life. The greater your control over IT, the greater will be your mission.
You have heard the saying:
SUCCESS BREEDS SUCCESS
Now you can begin to understand why.
Time is short. Like my beautiful Grandmother used to say: "Gary, it's later than you think." How right she was.
Nobody has enough time to fall victim to IT. IT is useless to you - a millstone around your neck, a mask to cheat you from becoming what your potential really is. You CAN achieve greatness in your short stay on this earth. You owe it to your creator - whoever you think that may be - to be a success. Your creator chose YOU to be born. YOU have a purpose. Are you going to fulfill it or are you going to disappoint your creator?
You see, buried somewhere inside you is a seed of greatness. I'm thinking that those nine bolded words may be the most important words in this entire newsletter. A mighty oak tree once started as a tiny acorn.
Once identified, IT cannot multiply unless you give your permission. For then, only you can give IT the power it so desperately craves.
There is a MISSION out there just for YOU - with YOUR name on it. Waiting for you. Seek out that mission. You might even know what that mission is already. Why wait any longer?
Declare war on IT forever.
FULFILL YOUR GOD GIVEN BIRTHRIGHT
End Of Story
That concludes my war on IT, the gremlin, procrastination, the power of negativity, internal trash talk, whatever you want to call the rotten little thing. I hope that you got something positive out of what I had to say.
I think those words that I identified above are so important that they bear repeating:
- buried somewhere inside you is a seed of greatness -
Are you going to nurture that seed and watch it grow? Are you prepared to see it blossom and bear fruit?
The Crabs In the Bucket
Now, I mentioned before about crabs in a bucket. Remember? Well, here is something that a Yugoslavian guy told me about twenty years ago when Yugoslavia was still Yugoslavia. I have never forgotten it. In broken English this is how he explained it to me. He said:
"Gary, you have three crabs in a bucket. The bucket is small enough for each crab to move up on its side and tumble out. The bucket sits in the hot sun and is placed just ten feet from the ocean's waves washing across the beach. How long will it take for one or two or all of the crabs to get out of that bucket?"
Now, while you are contemplating the answer to that conundrum I must say that, as kooky as some of what I have written in this newsletter may sound to you personally, I had great enjoyment writing it and bringing it to you. If you didn't like it don't blame the messenger, me, because there surely is a BIG message in all this.
As we come around the final turn and head into the home straight...
"How to Stop Wasting Your Life and Start Getting What You Want."
Several years ago I wrote a manual called "How to Stop Wasting Your Life and Start Getting What You Want." In it, I went to great lengths in the 150+ pages to provide exercises to improve the way that people see themselves. Normally priced at US$37 I am now offering this manual to my members and readers for the mere pittance of US$7.77. Rather than repeat my reasons for that decision in this newsletter, you can read more here: How to Stop Wasting Your Life and Start Getting What You Want.
OK. Quickly. This newsletter is getting too big. Back to the crabs in the bucket...
Back to the Crabs ...
Did you figure it out? Here's the answer. None of the crabs will EVER get out of the bucket. As soon as one tries, one or both of the other crabs will grab hold of it with their claws and prevent it from escaping. Now, what does that remind you of? I'll let you think about it.
Mind your mind. It's the most precious possession that you have. It will make you a fortune or it will cost you a fortune. But without it you would truly have nothing.
